Ethira operationalizes third-party risk to helping enterprises speed up vendor assessments, security reviews, and supply chain onboarding. The trust and compliance data we're building is the same foundation that will govern the autonomous AI agent economy as it matures. Ethira is building the trust & assurance layer for the autonomous AI agent economy. As enterprises increasingly deploy and rely on third-party AI agents, Ethira gives them the infrastructure to discover, assess, monitor, and enforce trust at runtime — the trust & assurance for an AI-powered workforce. We're backed by Inception Fund with angels from OpenAI, ElevenLabs, Klarna, and Google .

The role

We're building something genuinely hard: a platform that turns complex, high-stakes AI governance workflows into something people actually enjoy using. This is not a design systems job or a Figma-to-handoff role. We need a designer who finds magic in the mundane — who can take the friction out of vendor risk assessment, agent onboarding, and compliance monitoring, and make it feel fast, clear, and almost effortless.

You'll be the first dedicated designer on the team, reporting directly to the founders. You'll own the full product experience from first click to daily workflow — setting the bar for what "great" looks like at Ethira and building the design culture from the ground up.

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end product experience — from information architecture and user flows to polished, shipped UI. Every screen should feel considered.
  • Design for AI-native interaction patterns — async agents, live telemetry streams, confidence scores, and enforcement workflows. Make the invisible visible and the complex approachable.
  • Reduce friction relentlessly — audit existing flows, identify points of confusion or drop-off, and ship improvements that measurably change how users feel about the product.
  • Work directly with customers — run discovery, conduct usability sessions, and turn nuanced enterprise feedback into clear design decisions.
  • Partner closely with engineering — move fast, ship real things, and build a design system that scales without slowing us down.
  • Shape the visual identity of a company at the frontier of AI governance — you'll have real influence over how Ethira looks and feels as the category takes shape.

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of product design at B2B SaaS companies, ideally with complex data-rich interfaces (security, fintech, infrastructure, dev tools).
  • AI-native design experience — you've designed products where AI isn't a feature, it's the core. You understand how to build trust and clarity in systems that are probabilistic and sometimes opaque.
  • Exceptional craft — you sweat the details. Your work has a point of view. You can articulate why something feels right, not just that it does.
  • Strong product instincts — you push back on scope when needed and ask "why" before "what." You want to understand the problem, not just execute a brief.
  • Startup DNA — comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and wearing multiple hats. You've shipped imperfect-but-good, learned from it, and iterated quickly.
  • Fluent communication — you can present and defend design decisions to engineers, founders, and enterprise buyers in the same week.

Nice to have

  • Experience in security, compliance, or risk tooling
  • Dashboard and data visualisation design
  • Building and maintaining design systems at scale
  • High-fidelity prototyping in Framer or code
  • Fintech or enterprise SaaS background
  • Motion design and micro-interactions

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary and meaningful early-stage equity
  • Direct access to founders and a seat at the product table from day one
  • The rare chance to define design culture at a company from scratch — no legacy decisions to inherit
  • A problem space that is genuinely unsolved — AI agent governance is new territory, and the design patterns don't exist yet
  • Flexible hybrid working from Stockholm, with a team that moves fast and ships often
