Grasp is an agentic AI platform for finance. The $1.4 trillion financial advisory industry relies heavily on costly and scarce cognitive labor. The industry is so inefficient that advisory firms can charge millions of dollars for teams of junior employees, whose work is 90% manual and repetitive. It is clear that AI will automate large parts of this work and provide a massive uplift in productivity.

Grasp is used by 250 of the world’s largest finance institutions, including PwC, KPMG, Deloitte, and EY, to automate complex company and market research workflows. We’re growing 4x per year and are backed by globally renowned investors such as Octopus Ventures and Yanno Capital.

As part of our core technical team, you will be working on the absolute frontier of AI, building an LLM-based product with very strong customer traction.

Role

As an AI Engineer at Grasp, you will develop and ship cutting-edge AI solutions and iterate them based on feedback from our users. We are currently hiring for varying levels of seniority and are looking for exceptional individuals excited about building the AI-based professional services systems of the future.

The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden. We use an in-person work model and offer relocation assistance to new employees. We offer unlimited Claude Code/Codex/Cursor spend and expect you to use this to the fullest extent.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Product Iteration: Build novel AI-native workflows end-to-end, including training use-case specific AI models, creating agentic workflows and developing inference and data retrieval pipelines.
• Performance: Architect and implement high performance systems that operate efficiently at scale - minimizing latency and maximizing throughput across millions of data points.
• Stability: Deeply understand customer needs and identify product improvements, evaluating and improving our systems over time.
• Large Scale Data Processing: Work with a variety of large, unstructured, data sources to develop our product, including Grasp’s proprietary private company datasets and licensed data.
• Evaluation: Design and implement analytics-driven evaluation systems that enable product growth.

Skills and requirements

For this role you should:

• Have a strong track-record of building AI/ML-based systems or products.
• Have experience in building with LLMs - both using existing models and training/fine-tuning custom models.
• Have experience building agentic systems with for example retrieval, tool use, and structured outputs.
• Be comfortable working with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
