Role Overview

We are hiring a WordPress Developer to build high-performance, scalable, and conversion-focused websites for diverse clients. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in WordPress, PHP, and front-end technologies, who takes pride in writing clean, efficient code and delivering seamless digital experiences.

You will collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, and marketing teams to create websites that are not only visually compelling but also optimized for performance, search, and user engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Build responsive, user-friendly websites aligned with UI/UX designs (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.)
• Customize and extend WordPress functionality based on project requirements
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, and Core Web Vitals
• Implement and manage CMS-driven content structures
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and marketing platforms
• Work on WooCommerce-based eCommerce websites and custom features
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
• Perform website testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Manage website deployments, updates, backups, and security best practices
• Collaborate with SEO and marketing teams for on-page optimization and tracking
• Maintain code quality using version control systems like Git

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of experience in WordPress development
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience building custom themes and plugins from scratch
• Good understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices
• Experience with WooCommerce and eCommerce functionality
• Familiarity with responsive design and cross-device compatibility
• Understanding of website performance optimization techniques
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflow
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

• Experience with page builders (Elementor, Gutenberg blocks, etc.)
• Familiarity with headless WordPress and REST API integrations
• Exposure to modern front-end frameworks (React preferred)
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals and schema implementation
• Experience with website security and performance tools
• Knowledge of hosting environments and deployment processes
• Basic understanding of AI tools for development efficiency
