Research & Development delivers hearing solutions and services for hearing impaired people, hearing care professionals, and further related people, in the form of hearing devices, accessories, web services, mobile applications, and PC software.

Help us master the challenge of creating and developing tailor-made 3D modeling software for geometric modeling of individually manufactured custom-made earmolds and in-the-ear hearing aid shells. Help further automation of the software by fostering machine-learning on huge datasets. More About Your Role

  • Analysis, design and implementation of a 3D modeling application and services
  • Implementation in C# / .NET, testing and documentation of the application and services
  • Maintenance of native algorithms in C++, as well as interop between managed and native parts
  • Monitor and further develop a modern software development process (based on Git/GitHub, TeamCity, NuGet, Jira/Azure DevOps)
  • Take on functional ownership and keep close collaboration with other software engineers in an agile setup
  • Evolve agile development
  • Close collaboration with external partners and globally within Sonova


More About You

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
  • Experienced in Windows C#/.NET desktop application development
  • Proven knowledge of software design and development principles like SOLID
  • Knowledge of 3D computer graphics and geometric modeling
  • Solution-oriented positive thinker and team player
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus


The following would further strengthen your application:

  • Knowledge of interactive geometry manipulation is a plus
  • Knowhow in C++ and OpenGL 3D rendering is a plus
  • Knowledge of managed–native interoperability is a plus
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning is a plus (e.g. ONNX machine learning models)
