We’re looking for a Mid–Senior UI Designer to craft elegant, scalable interfaces across web and mobile platforms. You’ll elevate product quality, strengthen our design systems, and create frictionless financial experiences customers rely on daily.
This is a fully remote role, open to any location within Australia and working primarily within Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) hours.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Design high-quality, production-ready UI for customer and merchant-facing products
- Translate UX wireframes and research insights into refined, accessible interfaces
- Contribute to and evolve a scalable design system across multiple product squads
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Brand to ensure visual consistency
- Design intuitive financial workflows (checkout, onboarding, account management)
- Support experimentation and A/B testing with clean, measurable design outputs
- Ensure accessibility and usability standards are embedded in every release
- 4–7+ years in UI or Product Design roles within digital product environments
- Experience in FinTech, BNPL, payments, or high-transaction consumer products strongly preferred
- Proven experience designing at scale across multi-squad product teams
- Advanced Figma skills (components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping)
- Strong understanding of design systems, scalable UI architecture, and interaction patterns
- Exceptional typography, layout, and visual hierarchy skills
- Experience designing responsive and mobile-first interfaces
- Strong accessibility awareness (WCAG standards)
- Ability to work asynchronously across time zones
- Clear communicator who can articulate design rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience partnering closely with engineering for clean handoff and implementation
This is a remote role, with core working hours aligned to the Australian AEST time zone. We value flexibility but trust you to manage your workload effectively. You’ll stay connected with the team through Slack, G-suite, and email — and your ability to communicate clearly and proactively will set you up for success.
