JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Supply Chain Development Specialist to join our growing team.


The Supply Chain Development Specialist plays a key role in strengthening and evolving supply chain processes and supporting tools across the organization. The position focuses on creating efficient, standardized, and scalable planning solutions that enable reliable data flows, reduce administrative effort, and support high-quality decision-making. By working closely with supply chain stakeholders across Europe, the role contributes to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and alignment with best-in-class supply chain standards.

Role Summary & Purpose


Supply Chain Development Specialist maintains and develops the tools and processes used in supply chain management, is instrumental in ensuring processes are efficient, supported by appropriate tools and information flows timely and seamlessly between the process steps and tools.


Critical Performance Objectives

The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to:

  • Creating, developing and maintaining planning process and tools, including data maintenance
  • Reduction of administration resource needed for process and costs related to poor/missing data
  • Providing input regarding more effective processes to achieve Oliver Wight Class A assessment criteria for supply management
  • Provide technical and process support to Supply Chain organisation in Europe

Experience / Knowledge

  • Higher education in logistics or supply chain management or minimum 5 years of experience from a similar role with an international company
  • Demonstrated proficiency in independently identifying, analysing, and presenting problems and opportunities on various levels of aggregation to both higher and lower hierarchy levels
  • Demonstrated experience in developing supply chain operational processes and supporting IT tools (Excel based) with stakeholders incl business users
  • Ability to appreciate differing perspectives and experiences and foster genuine consensus among groups from different backgrounds and functional organizations through the use of data
  • Demonstrated performance in living the values of the company.
