About The Role
The role partners closely with Finance sub-teams (Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Controlling, Reporting) and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects with financial impact are delivered efficiently, on time, within scope and in line with governance and compliance standards.
The position acts as a bridge between Finance and the wider organization, bringing structure, transparency, and disciplined execution to change initiatives and process improvements.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact between Finance and business teams on initiatives with financial impact, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Manage Finance-related projects from initiation to completion, maintaining clear plans, defined responsibilities, and proactive risk tracking to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide regular project updates and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders to support alignment and execution.
- Support governance processes for financial and regulatory changes, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and audit trail maintenance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within Finance by supporting process optimization, financial systems implementation, and adoption of project management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management or a related field with proven years of project management experience, ideally within Finance or IT in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (Jira preferred).
- Basic understanding of Finance processes and financial systems is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- CAPM, Prince2 or other relevant project management certification is a plus; ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
