UX/UI Designer
Model 5 is a team of excellent professionals, able to manage the whole development of a style project in automotive design and industrial design field.
We are looking for a talented UX/UI Designer who will collaborate with our design team to shape and develop our next generation HMI and Infotainment’s UX.
TYPE OF POSITION: Permanent
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will be responsible for creating user interfaces and graphic controls for the next generation of our vehicles, as well as concepts for the future human machine interfaces on mobility platforms. The candidate would join a team of internal Designers, Programmers and Engineers to create brand new UX experience for our digital dashboard, HMI and Infotainment platforms.
The ideal candidate must have a strong passion for automotive and computer graphic and ability to be creative both within and without parameters, be able to create inspiring 2D and 3D motion graphics for UX/UI designs and exhibit a deep attention to detail and passion for simplifying user experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong familiarity with user interface patterns for automotive UX/UI and web/mobile/consumer electronics
Passion for user experience, creative direction, editorial design, design thinking, and the emerging fields of design
3 years of UX/UI design, motion graphic design, 3D design, interaction design, animation, or similar UX/UI-related experience, better (not mandatory) if in the Automotive Industry.
Expert level of proficiency in UX/UI prototyping tools (Figma, Protopie, Adobe Creative Cloud suite).
An in-depth knowledge of After Effects for interface animation is required
A portfolio of work demonstrating relevant experience that shows independently produced original samples in automotive and general UX/UI projects.
NICE TO HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience working with Industrial Designers and the automotive industry.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed
- Experience with game development platforms (Unreal Engine or Unity)
- Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present a strong rationale for design decisions in Italian and English
