Critical Security was established in 2007 by a group of cyber security enthusiasts, and since then, the company has been providing high-quality security assessments and penetration tests to various organizations. Our team consists of experienced and certified security professionals who are dedicated to delivering customized solutions that meet each client’s unique needs. We take a proactive approach to cybersecurity, helping organizations identify potential risks before they become major problems.

With extensive experience working with clients from a diverse range of industries around the globe, including finance, healthcare, education, and technology, we are well-equipped to handle the unique security challenges of each industry.

In addition, Critical Security runs an AppSec and IoT security research lab which examines security of different products to gain unique knowledge and collaborate with vendors to resolve the identified issues.

Responsibilities:

• Perform penetration testing across various platforms and services.
• Conduct manual web application penetration tests and partial code security reviews.
• Test mobile application security on iOS and Android.
• Execute network security assessments and red team assignments.
• Share knowledge and contribute to research and internal tools.
• Stay updated on the latest vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and ethical hacking methods.
• Write comprehensive reports.

If you have a passion for cybersecurity and meet the following criteria, we want you on our team:

Requirements:

• Self-motivated, quick learner, able to work independently.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical security testing across multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications, and network protocols.
• At least one certification: OSCP, OSEP, OSWE, CRTO.
• Excellent knowledge of OWASP vulnerability classes and Testing Guide.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce clear, structured reports.
• No criminal record.

Bonus Points:

• Application security research (CVE’s, whitepapers).
• Proficiency in Latvian or German.
• University degree.
• Experience in cloud service penetration testing (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Blue/Red/Purple team operations.
