Our Customer, a worldwide used rewards app, is looking for a proactive and analytical Junior/Mid Java Developer to support their technical ecosystem. This role bridges the gap between software development and business operations. You will focus heavily on maintaining and optimizing our existing integrations, monitoring systems from a business perspective (such as game setups), and helping us build and refine fraud detection patterns in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining, adjusting, and troubleshooting existing third-party integrations and APIs
- Monitoring system integrations and platform health from a business perspective, including rewarded game setups and campaign configurations
- Assisting in building and maintaining backend software systems under the guidance of senior developers
- Writing clean, maintainable code to support business operations and resolve technical issues
- Learning and adopting new technologies and best practices within the team
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience (or a relevant degree/bootcamp) in building Java-based systems (experience with other programming languages will also be considered)
- Understanding of core integration concepts like calling REST APIs, parsing JSON responses, and persisting results to a database
- Basic knowledge of SQL, with the ability to query databases for operational monitoring, game setup validation, and fraud analysis
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detecting data anomalies or suspicious patterns
- Self-starter who thrives both independently and in small team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong English proficiency
- Located in Lithuania for hybrid work from Vilnius office
