About the role

You will be part of a mature engineering setup focused on building tailored applications that support complex core processes. The environment is fully cloud-based, leveraging Azure and modern architectural principles such as microservices, event-driven design and domain-driven design.

In this role you will take ownership of end-to-end development, from design to deployment. You will collaborate closely with product ownership to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, while also guiding less experienced engineers and driving best practices across the team.

The setup is strongly focused on DevOps, automation, and continuous improvement. You will work in a structured yet autonomous environment where teams are empowered to make decisions within a clear architectural vision.

About you

• 8+ years of experience in .NET and C# development

• Strong experience with cloud-native development on Microsoft Azure

• Solid understanding of microservices, domain-driven design and event-driven architecture

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular or React

• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and test strategies

• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and containerization (Docker)

• Familiar with tools such as Azure DevOps, ARM, Bicep and scripting (Powershell)

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments

• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor team members

• Fluent in Dutch and English
