AI/ML Engineer – AI-Powered Multi-Tenant SaaS – €80–95K plus Equity – Netherlands
Our client is a fast-growing company that is building an AI-powered SaaS platform that helps organizations handle contracts and compliance obligations faster, more professionally, and more efficiently. By combining advanced and agentic AI with the expertise of legal professionals, they automate up to 95 percent of repetitive work. Built on a multi-tenant architecture, the platform is designed for organizations with multiple subsidiaries and uses specialized AI agents to handle most routine work. A lot of modern tech stuff.
Tech stack
Python, LLMs such as OpenAI Anthropic and local models, vector databases, retrieval augmented generation pipelines, Pydantic AI, LangChain, and cloud infrastructure.
The role
As an AI ML Engineer, you will be responsible for building and improving the AI agents that sit at the core of the product. AI is not an add-on here; it is the product. You will design, prototype, and scale agent-based systems that can reason about legal and compliance topics such as answering questions, drafting contracts, filling registers, and running risk assessments.
You will work on real-world AI challenges, including hallucinations, explainability, bias, and privacy, and collaborate closely with compliance experts to translate regulations into AI usable workflows and knowledge structures. This is a highly autonomous role where you take ownership from problem definition to production.
You should have experience with
- Medior to Senior level experience in AI or ML engineering.
- Strong Python skills and experience with modern AI and ML frameworks.
- Shipping production systems using large language models, whether cloud based or local.
- RAG
- Designing workflows from functional problems by breaking them down into steps, POCs, architecture, and implementation.
- A pragmatic mindset, knowing when to move fast and when to go deeper.
You are hands-on, pragmatic, and you do not wait. You see a problem and you beuk, wink wink.
The offer
Gross annual salary between 80K and 95K plus equity.
No pension scheme yet.
The interview process consists of four rounds.
2 times office in Amsterdam.
Only candidates based in the Netherlands will be considered. No visa sponsorship.
