Network Reliability Engineer – Infrastructure – Low-Level Systems – High-Performance Environments – €180k
We’re partnering with a fast-scaling infrastructure company building the underlying systems that power latency-sensitive, high-throughput workloads. In this environment, the network is not just a component—it’s the foundation everything else relies on, and its reliability directly impacts system performance at scale.
You’ll focus on improving resilience across interconnected systems: from site-level readiness to cross-location communication paths, ensuring that failures are understood, contained, and systematically reduced over time. When things break, you’ll lead investigations and translate learnings into long-term engineering improvements rather than temporary fixes.
A big part of the role is making systems easier and safer to operate. That means developing automation, improving visibility into system behavior, and introducing controlled ways to roll out and validate changes. You’ll work closely with engineers across infrastructure and platform teams to ensure reliability and operability are built into systems from day one.
This role sits close to the system layer: you’ll spend time debugging -based environments, analyzing traffic behavior under stress, and identifying weak points in complex, distributed setups. Success here is measured by reducing operational friction and preventing issues before they surface.
Requirements:
• Strong experience working with Linux in production environments, including debugging and performance analysis
• Good understanding of how distributed systems communicate and fail under real-world conditions
• Experience supporting and improving highly available systems (beyond just maintaining them)
• Ability to write code or automation (Go and/or Python preferred)
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure practices (automation, version-controlled environments, deployment pipelines)
If you’re interested in solving deep infrastructure challenges and making complex systems more reliable and scalable, this could be a great fit.
