We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer (5+ years of experience) to join a project in the banking and financial services sector, in a hybrid model with 2 days per week on-site in Lisbon. The role focuses on building and migrating a new application designed to be robust, scalable, and secure, within a development team committed to technical best practices. The start date was not provided.


Key responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable full-stack applications in line with established technology roadmaps and best practices.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and system architecture discussions.
  • Build, maintain, and improve front-end interfaces and back-end services to deliver high-quality, user-centric applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on system integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Contribute proactively to software design decisions, supporting functional and technical excellence.
  • Conduct integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system quality and reliability.
  • Partner with central teams, architecture groups, and engineering stakeholders to support secure coding and robust SDLC processes.
  • Implement SDLC best practices with a focus on automation, CI/CD pipelines, and low-touch deployments.


Must-Have Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Extensive experience in full-stack development using modern frameworks and tools, with a front-to-back delivery and integration testing mindset.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Medium knowledge of Java.
  • Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Hands-on experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js.
  • Familiarity with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of secure coding principles, functional design systems, and architectural patterns.
  • Experience working with distributed development teams.
  • English proficiency.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model, 2 days per week in Lisbon.
