Market Data Analyst

Job summary: We are looking for a Market Data Analyst to join our Controlling team. This role is responsible for analysing pharmaceutical market data, supporting strategic and financial decision-making by providing accurate, relevant and timely market insights. The position ensures a clear understanding of market trends, segment evolution and revenue drivers by comparing external market data with internal results and identifying risks and opportunities for the business.

Reports to: Controlling Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Market data analysis & performance monitoring:

• Collects, validates and analyses pharmaceutical market data related to revenues, volumes, market share and category performance;
• Compares external market performance with internal data identifying gaps, deviations and growth opportunities;
• Monitors key market performance indicators and supports business understanding of market dynamics
• Supports forecasting and planning processes by providing market-based assumptions and insights
• Identifies structural market trends and potential impact on company financial performance
• Prepares periodic market performance reports, dashboards and presentations for management and relevant stakeholders
• Ensures accuracy and transparency of market data used in analyses and reports

Business Partnering & Cross-functional collaboration:

• Acts as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders interested in market data (Purchasing, B2C, Sales, Management etc.)

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics or a related field;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, trends, building reports;
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel & Power Point are mandatory);
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills;
• English language skills – fluent;
• Eagerness to learn, oriented towards improvement and continuous professional development.
