What You’ll Tackle
- Deliver Next Generation Cloud Computing Products: Design and implement responsive, intuitive, and efficient next-generation Cloud Developer Experiences.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with our backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
- Optimise Performance: Create a scalable framework for building our UI which allows us to spend most of our engineering time on a small number of highly differentiated areas.
- Contribute to Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices to enhance code quality and maintainability.
- Implement Testing Strategies: Utilise testing frameworks like Playwright and Jest to ensure the reliability and stability of the codebase through rigorous testing practices.
- Stay Current with Technologies: Continuously explore and implement cutting-edge technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance our development processes and improve user experience.
- Collaboration: Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships.
- Curiosity around AI: Interest in exploring how AI can enhance development and user experience.

Skills We Value
- Experience: Typically 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
- Proficiency in Modern Front-End Technologies: Strong skills in a modern JavaScript framework (bonus if you have familiarity with Svelte framework, but not necessary!); Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript and NodeJS experience also desired.
- Cloud based computing experience: Experience in using the developer tooling of a cloud based computing platform such as AWS. Experience or knowledge of Kubernetes not necessary, but strongly valued.
- Responsive Design: Experience with responsive web design principles.
- Dedication to Quality: Dedication to Quality: Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Playwright and Jest to ensure high code quality and user experience.
- Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration on code repositories.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail in both functionality and design.
- Collaboration: Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships.
