They're seeking a Senior Java Developer to join the team in Stockholm and play a key role in building a highly scalable and adaptable platform, delivering next-generation solutions for fleet challenges across the globe.

Position Summary

Looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and implement critical components of our platform. You’ll ensure it’s scalable, secure, and high-performing, collaborating with a team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers. Responsibilities

• Development: Lead the backend development of services and APIs in Java, powering our core platform functionality.
• Architecture: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy a scalable and resilient SaaS platform.
• Best Practices: Implement coding best practices, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
• Optimisation: Continuously enhance performance, reliability, and scalability of the platform.
• Innovation: Contribute to cutting-edge solutions in real-time data processing, predictive analytics, and AI-driven fleet management.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with product and design teams to understand requirements and deliver features that delight our customers.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of Java development experience, ideally within SaaS or cloud-based environments.
• Languages: Swedish and English Fluency.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Database Management: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Cloud & Containers: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Problem-Solver: Strong problem-solving skills to address complex, real-world challenges through efficient code.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Bonus Skills: Knowledge of AI/ML or data analytics, experience in logistics/transportation, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
