Windows App Developer – Workforce & Workflow Intelligence Platform
- Remote
- Early-stage
- 15M$ Seed Round
- High trust, high speed, and high impact.
We’re building a next-generation workforce and workflow intelligence platform that delivers privacy-aware, AI-driven insights for hybrid teams. Our Windows app is critical for capturing performance data, enabling analytics, and powering AI-driven productivity insights — all while respecting employee privacy and GDPR/EU compliance.
We’re looking for a Windows App Developer who will own the full product lifecycle of our Windows app — from installation and updates to enterprise deployment and client-facing support — collaborating closely with backend engineers, product teams, and enterprise clients. This is a high-impact, hands-on role ideal for engineers passionate about end-to-end ownership and scaling core products in a hybrid work environment.
Core Responsibilities
Windows App Development & Product Lifecycle
- Lead development, architecture, installation, updates, and enterprise deployment of the Windows app.
- Ensure high performance, memory efficiency, and reliability, especially for time tracking, activity monitoring and analytics.
- Profile, debug, and optimize Windows apps for speed, stability, and memory usage.
Enterprise & Managed Environments
- Build apps for managed or restricted enterprise environments using MDM tools.
- Ensure consistent deployment across varied enterprise setups and handle enterprise-level edge cases.
- Manage installations, updates, and versioning across large-scale client deployments.
- Handle sandboxing, permissions, and VPN or secure network connectivity constraints.
Privacy & Compliance
- Implement privacy-aware monitoring, ensuring GDPR/EU compliance while capturing productivity insights.
- Design features to provide AI-driven analytics without invasive screenshots or keystroke logging.
Client-Facing & Product Support
- Collaborate directly with enterprise clients for app qualification, deployment support, and technical troubleshooting.
- Collect client feedback to improve usability, performance, and feature set.
- Serve as a technical point-of-contact for enterprise onboarding, updates, and integrations.
API & Backend Collaboration
- Integrate with backend APIs for time tracking, hybrid work analytics, and AI insights.
- Collaborate with backend developers to maintain consistent, cross-platform user experiences.
Testing, CI/CD, and Releases
- Contribute to app architecture, testing practices, and release processes.
- Ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for Windows applications.
Technical Experience
- Proficient in C# and Windows app development (Avalonia UI, WPF, UWP, or WinUI).
- Experience building time tracking applications or VPN-integrated apps.
- Familiarity with enterprise-managed or MDM-deployed environments.
- Strong profiling, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Comfortable integrating with APIs and backend services.
- Strong focus on stability, reliability, and UX consistency.
- Understanding of privacy-first monitoring and GDPR/EU compliance best practices.
- Experience with enterprise client qualification, deployment, and support.
Bonus / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with cross-platform apps (Electron, Avalonia, Xamarin, or Catalyst).
- Familiarity with AI-driven productivity analytics.
- Understanding of Django or similar backend frameworks and API design.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Knowledge of enterprise VPN solutions and secure remote access architectures.
- Prior experience managing enterprise-scale installations, updates, and client-facing technical engagement.
You’ll take ownership of a critical product surface — our Windows app — the backbone for data collection and user insights. You’ll collaborate closely with the core team to enhance performance, reliability, and cross-platform developer experience. This role is perfect for engineers who enjoy craftsmanship, technical ownership, and making a tangible impact.
We offer full-time opportunities in a culture of high trust, fast execution, and meaningful impact. If you thrive on end-to-end product ownership and love optimizing at every level, you’ll feel right at home.
