Job Title: DevOps Developer
Location: Cracow, Poland
Required:
- 7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency with AWS services (ECS, EC2, VPC, S3, CloudFront, Route53, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM).
- Extensive experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Docker Compose).
- Proven track record in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash for automation.
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, security groups, - load balancers).
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with Packer for building machine images.
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible or similar).
- Knowledge of multi-region deployment strategies and disaster recovery patterns.
- Exposure to serverless architectures and AWS Lambda.
- Familiarity with AWS SAM (Serverless Application Model).
- Experience with PostgreSQL database administration and optimization.
- Understanding of application security practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
