Join our dynamic Compliance team at BiLira as we seek a talented Deputy Compliance Officer to assist the Chief Compliance Officer and drive our compliance strategies forward!

Responsibilities:

• Following updates in legal regulations and MASAK (Financial Crimes Investigation Board) regulations, and carrying out necessary work to ensure compliance with laws and regulations issued under the law,
• Working with the compliance officer to ensure necessary communication and coordination with the Financial Crimes Investigation Board and other relevant institutions and organizations,
• Conducting the processes of creating and approving company policies and procedures with the compliance officer,
• Developing and implementing AML/CFT and risk management policies with the compliance officer,
• Creating monitoring and control policies and carrying out related activities with the compliance officer,
• Preparing training content within the scope of compliance regulations and ensuring training activities are carried out when necessary with the compliance officer,
• Filing suspicious transaction reports with the compliance officer,
• Assisting in the integration of new SPK (Capital Markets Board) and MASAK regulations in a manner compatible with company policies,
• Conducting customer acceptance, verification, and monitoring processes with the compliance officer,
• Managing compliance processes in collaboration with internal teams.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Graduated from the Law, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics departments of universities,
• At least 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance, totally 5 years of experience in an financial institution,
• Having the MASAK-Certified Compliance Officer License
• Proficient in MASAK regulations,
• Familiar with systems used within the scope of AML/CFT,
• Proficient in English (speaking and writing),
• Communication and problem-solving skills,
• Completed military service for male candidates.
• Knowledgeable in blockchain technologies,
• Experienced in trading in the cryptocurrency market and familiar with local and global exchanges,
• Strong Excel skills,
• Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency sector and financial markets,
• Residing in Istanbul.
