Associate BI Analyst
Job Description
Minimum compensation: starting from 7 500 PLN. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's experience and competencies.
So, who are we?
Hello, we're IG Group. We are a publicly-traded FTSE250 FinTech company who run mobile, web and desktop platforms that help our clients trade stocks & shares, leveraged products, Futures & Options and Crypto.
We are ambitious. Over 340,000 people already use our platforms. We're global with offices in 18 countries and products in 16 regions. We're hungry to move faster, ship better product for our customers and grow our user base. We believe in high autonomy, and we want people who are looking to do things differently in order to create better experiences for our customers.
We work in cross-functional teams and are laser focused on increasing the number of active clients we serve to drive sustainable growth.
Your role in the team's success
You'll be joining our Business Intelligence team as part of IG's data transformation journey. As an Associate BI Analyst, you'll contribute to building the "Smart Business" layer of our data strategy — helping make data and insights accessible and actionable across the business.
Our BI team is the center of excellence for analytics across four strategic themes: Business Intelligence, Operational Efficiency, Marketing/Client Acquisition, and Client Experience/Personalisation. You'll work in cross-functional squads alongside data engineers, analytics engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, gaining broad exposure to different areas of the business.
As a member of the BI Analysts Chapter, you'll develop your skills alongside peers while rotating between different squads based on business priorities. One week you might be building executive dashboards for operational efficiency, the next you could be supporting marketing teams with customer segmentation analytics, or collaborating with product teams on personalization initiatives
What You'll Do
- Support the design and development of Looker dashboards that enable data-driven decision making across the organisation
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear, effective visualisations
- Maintain documentation and support training to help business users self-serve their data needs
- Partner with analytics engineers to understand and make effective use of underlying data models
- Someone with a keen interest in data visualisation and a desire to grow into a strong BI practitioner
- Experience with any BI/visualisation tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working with stakeholders across HR, Product, and Marketing to understand their reporting needs
- An analytical thinker who can translate business questions into clear visual stories
- Someone organised and reliable, able to manage multiple tasks and deliver within short sprint cycles
- A curious learner who is excited about new technologies, including AI-powered analytics and self-service tools
- Good communication skills and a willingness to support less data-savvy colleagues
We try to take a thoughtful approach to our ways of working as a company. We follow a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office -- which we think balances the need to collaborate effectively and connect with each other. When it comes to how we deliver, there are 5 things we want everyone to do to drive high performance, better learning and career satisfaction:
- Lead and Inspire: Drives trust, alignment, and enthusiasm
- Think Big: Focus on the problems that most impact commercial outcomes
- Champion the client: Understand and prioritise client's needs
- Deliver at pace: Push for fast, sustainable growth;
- Raise the bar: Take ownership, be accountable and share feedback
