DevOps Engineer (Azure + Kubernetes)

Responsibilities:

• Continuously optimize the online environment and take full responsibility for the stability of

our production environment.

• Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)

systems and methodologies to support a 24/7 mission-critical environment.

• Develop automation strategies that will enhance our deployment and monitoring capabilities

across multiple global sites using cutting-edge DevOps tools.

• Oversee and optimize our extensive cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient provisioning,

configuration, auto-scaling, and management of computing resources across multiple platforms

including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.

• Lead the implementation and operation of containerization and orchestration technologies

like Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.

• Vigilantly monitor system performance indicators, respond to incidents, and proactively

troubleshoot and resolve critical issues to maintain operational excellence.

• Enforce stringent security protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant industry

standards and regulations.

• Spearhead a rigorous on-call rotation schedule, demanding flexibility to address urgent

issues at any time, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field,

supplemented by a minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or systems engineering roles within a high growth tech environment.

• Mastery of software development lifecycles with a strong emphasis on CI/CD practices;

proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Golang, Python, and Shell.

• Expertise in managing large-scale cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), with

hands-on experience in advanced configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible,

and Saltstack.

• In-depth knowledge of Docker, Containerd, Kubernetes, and Openshift, with a proven track

record of deploying scalable, secure containerized applications.

• Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving prowess; able to manage multiple projects

under tight deadlines with peak stress tolerance.

• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for cross-functional collaboration and executive reporting.
