Brief Job Description

We are seeking a Proxy Product Manager – Open Finance to support the delivery and evolution of Corporate / Transaction Banking products within an Open Banking ecosystem.

This role will function as a Proxy Product Manager, working closely with Product Owners to manage the product backlog, define user stories, and support delivery of Open Finance capabilities for corporate banking services.

The role requires strong experience in Corporate Banking / Transaction Banking products, combined with exposure to Open Banking frameworks, API-enabled product exposure, and regulatory requirements. The candidate will work across business, technology, and compliance teams to ensure corporate banking products are successfully delivered within Open Finance ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Product Lifecycle Management

• Act as Proxy Product Manager, supporting Product Owners in delivering corporate banking products within Open Finance initiatives.
• Manage product backlogs, user stories, and feature prioritization aligned with business objectives.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Support the end-to-end product lifecycle, from requirements definition through delivery and post-release support.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.

Open Finance Product Enablement

• Support the implementation of Open Banking / Open Finance capabilities for corporate banking products.
• Define product requirements for exposing banking services through secure APIs and partner ecosystems.
• Work with architecture and engineering teams to ensure product capabilities align with Open Banking standards and API frameworks.
• Contribute to consent management, data sharing frameworks, and client authorization models.

Corporate Banking Product Expertise

• Work on corporate banking product areas such as:
• Payments
• Collections
• Cash Management
• Liquidity Management
• Account Services
• Support digitization and integration of these products within Open Finance platforms and fintech ecosystems.

Regulatory & Compliance Alignment

• Ensure product capabilities align with regulatory frameworks issued by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) and other global Open Banking standards.
• Work with risk, compliance, and legal teams to ensure appropriate governance and regulatory adherence.
• Support regulatory reporting and audit requirements where applicable.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with corporate banking product teams, technology teams, integration teams, and operations.
• Coordinate with external partners, fintech providers, and ecosystem platforms involved in Open Finance initiatives.
• Support delivery coordination across multiple stakeholders to ensure timely product releases.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in banking product management, digital banking, or technology delivery roles.
• Strong experience in Corporate Banking / Transaction Banking products.
• Mandatory experience with Open Banking / Open Finance initiatives.
• Hands-on experience in product backlog management, user story creation, and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Understanding of corporate banking services such as payments, collections, liquidity management, and cash management.
• Experience working with API-enabled banking platforms or Open Banking ecosystems.

Preferred Expertise

• Knowledge of Open Banking regulations issued by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE).
• Experience working with API management platforms, fintech ecosystems, or banking integration frameworks.
• Familiarity with transaction banking platforms, payment systems, or corporate digital banking solutions.
• Experience collaborating with system integrators or fintech partners in Open Finance ecosystems.
