We are seeking an AI Automation Engineer to support automation, operational efficiency, and AI-enabled reliability across Data Center Operations and Facility Management. This role is responsible for designing, building, testing, and implementing AI prompts and automation agents that enhance mission-critical processes, while operating within established AI governance, security, and compliance frameworks. The position focuses on practical automation enablement within defined safety guardrails. It does not involve ownership of enterprise AI strategy or final operational decision-making authority.
Key Accountabilities:
- Build autonomous and semi‑autonomous AI agents to support Data Center Operations.
- Integrate agents with Microsoft 365, CAFM, BMS/EMS, ERP, ticketing platforms, and other
- enterprise systems.
- Design multi-step logic flows that improve reporting, uptime, response speed, and operational efficiency.
- Implement monitoring, escalation logic, and exception-handling mechanisms for AI agents.
- Develop structured, context‑aware prompts for safety‑critical operational workflows and procedures.
- Optimize prompt outputs for accuracy, consistency, compliance, and reliability.
- Create reusable prompt libraries that support alarms, incidents, handovers, maintenance, reporting, and other data center workflows.
- Validate and test all prompt configurations to prevent operational risk.
- Translate Alarms, Alerts, Change Management, Incident Response, Maintenance, etc. workflows into automation-ready AI logic.
- Collaborate with Facility, Engineering, and Operations teams to capture process requirements.
- Develop AI-driven solutions that support predictive insights, triage, and operational decision making.
- Support digital transformation and reliability engineering initiatives.
- Ensure all AI prompts and agents are tested and validated before live deployment.
- Maintain documentation of automation logic, workflows, and system integrations.
- Monitor AI agent performance and escalate anomalies, risks, or inconsistencies.
- Operate strictly within approved AI governance, data security, and compliance frameworks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in AI automation, workflow development, or digital process enablement.
- Experience in data center operations or facility management environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience automating operational or technical workflows.
Minimum Skills / Requirements:
- Strong understanding of LLM prompt engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio or similar AI workflow platforms.
- Experience with API integrations and workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate or equivalent).
- Ability to convert operational processes into structured automation logic.
- Basic understanding of enterprise AI security and governance principles.
- Familiarity with safety-critical operational environments.
