Job Description

As an IT Project Manager at our organization, you will be at the forefront of managing technology projects from initial concept through to successful delivery. This role demands a mature, seasoned professional who can balance competing demands and drive projects to completion while maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, navigating between technical and non-technical challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies, coupled with the ability to lead diverse teams towards achieving strategic objectives. Your strategic vision, paired with practical implementation skills, will ensure that our projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with our business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that prioritize essential tasks and deadlines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met within the set timelines.
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to review project progress and address potential issues.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to avoid potential setbacks and ensure smooth execution.
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency across the project.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and client expectations.
• Monitor project progress continuously and adjust plans as necessary to achieve targets.
• Communicate project updates to senior management and other relevant parties regularly.
• Lead project retrospectives to refine processes and enhance future project performance.
• Ensure all project phases are documented and maintain comprehensive records for reference.
• Manage budget allocation effectively to keep project costs within their approved budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience managing IT projects in a dynamic environment.
• Strong proficiency in project management software and methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative working environment.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively and efficiently.
• Demonstrated experience in risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
