We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Java EE Developer to support the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-level applications. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who thrives in Agile environments and can manage multiple priorities across the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze user and business requirements to design effective application solutions
- Define application functionality and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Develop high-level and detailed technical designs
- Build, test, and maintain Java-based applications
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and issue resolution
- Recommend enhancements to existing systems and infrastructure
- Create technical documentation and user support materials
- Participate in peer reviews and contribute to best practices
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Deliver demos and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology
- 5+ years of Java development experience in medium to large environments
- 5+ years of experience with JUnit testing
- 3+ years of experience with Spring Boot and/or Angular
- 3+ years working with Maven, Git, and database interfaces
- 3+ years of experience with JSF 2.1
- 3+ years of experience with JPA (Hibernate)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects or complex initiatives
- Strong understanding of Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Experience in IT or telecommunications environments
- Exposure to AI tools or emerging technologies
- On-site work in Regina, SK — be part of a collaborative workplace located in the heart of Regina
