Backend Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable backend systems. You will play a key role in developing APIs, handling data processing, and ensuring system performance and stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Build scalable, high-performance systems and ensure reliability
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
• Optimize database queries and improve system efficiency
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Implement security and data protection best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go)
• Experience with RESTful API design and development
• Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to DevOps or SRE practices
• Experience working with AI/ML systems or data pipelines
