We’re hiring a Data Operations Analyst on behalf of our client, a leading company in the technology and digital services industry. You’ll manage daily mapping operations, validate geo data, coordinate with vendors, and support cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate, high‑quality data delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, monitor, and validate large sets of geo data using proprietary software and internal tools.
- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the mapping team to ensure timely delivery of accurate, high‑quality data.
- Conduct regular quality checks, including translation and transcription when required.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional and local teams to drive regional projects.
- Support the team leader/manager with data analysis and reporting.
- Coordinate with vendors and oversee project progress.
- Assist teammates in the mapping process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy across all tasks.
- Deliver training sessions locally and regionally when needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Geography, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in data processing, geospatial analysis, or automation within a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a passion for maps.
- Detail‑oriented and metrics‑driven, with an understanding of how maps impact product performance and customer experience.
- Proficient in G‑Suite applications (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.).
- Solid project management, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑department communication skills.
- Familiarity with data sources such as OpenStreetMap is an advantage.
