Overview
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of digital mental health and AI-enabled solutions. This role will focus on defining product vision, driving product development, and ensuring responsible deployment of AI-powered capabilities that support digital healthcare services.
The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, data science, UX, analytics, and operational teams to translate strategic objectives into scalable product solutions. The role requires solid product leadership, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to ensure that AI-enabled features are designed, implemented, and governed responsibly.

Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for digital mental health and AI-enabled initiatives.
  • Translate strategic objectives into prioritized product backlogs, epics, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Continuously review and adjust the product roadmap based on data insights, user feedback, and technical constraints.


AI Product Design & Governance

  • Define use cases for AI-enabled features, such as co-pilot tools, triage support systems, and recommendation engines.
  • Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to translate model capabilities into safe and usable product features.
  • Ensure human-in-the-loop safeguards, escalation logic, explainability elements, and appropriate UX disclosures are incorporated into product design.
  • Define model evaluation metrics (e.g., accuracy benchmarks, response quality, latency thresholds) prior to deployment.
  • Support responsible AI governance, including bias risk assessment, model monitoring, and auditability.


Delivery & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization with engineering, UX, data science, and operations teams.
  • Develop clear Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) including workflows, edge cases, and non-functional requirements.
  • Ensure alignment between frontend, backend, analytics, and machine learning components.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), stakeholder reviews, and release readiness activities.


Data, Metrics & Impact Tracking

  • Define key product performance metrics, such as user engagement, workflow efficiency, response times, and system accuracy.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to monitor user behavior and AI system performance.
  • Use data insights to guide product iterations, feature enhancements, and scaling decisions.


Documentation, Risk & Governance

  • Maintain detailed documentation of product requirements, workflows, dependencies, and governance controls.
  • Identify and manage operational, clinical, and reputational risks associated with AI-enabled features.
  • Support audit, compliance, and security review processes.
  • Develop documentation to support knowledge transfer and long-term product sustainability.


User Research & Validation

  • Conduct user research across stakeholders such as service users, clinicians, counsellors, and administrators.
  • Design and oversee pilot programs and controlled feature rollouts.
  • Translate qualitative and quantitative feedback into actionable product improvements.
  • Embed continuous feedback loops throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with research partners to support evaluation studies of deployed solutions.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Support ad-hoc initiatives related to the development, evaluation, scaling, and responsible deployment of digital health and AI-enabled products.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Product Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 5 years of experience in product management, digital product development, or technology delivery.
  • Experience working with AI-enabled products, data-driven platforms, or digital healthcare solutions is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams across engineering, UX, and analytics environments.
  • Experience defining product roadmaps, PRDs, and product metrics.
  • Good understanding of AI product design, model evaluation metrics, and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience working in Agile product development environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive product decisions.
