We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Data Analyst II to join our dynamic and fast-paced IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining various data metrics to assist internal and external customers, and working closely with stakeholders to provide business solutions and drive strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of metrics and data visualizations to enable decision making and reporting.
- Leverage metrics to identify business opportunities and risks to drive strategic action.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine data and analysis gaps and determines optimal solutions to close those gaps, including through the development of self-service data tools/apps.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor on initiatives to ensure they are supported by data.
- Ensure a long-term maintenance of existing reports and dashboards.
- Perform ad hoc data analytics and reporting to support emergent requirements.
- Automate the collection and analysis large data sets from internal systems and 3rd party reporting services
- Demonstrate knowledge of ETL processes and combining data from multiple sources including Salesforce, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB
- Craft complex SQL queries and stored procedures in order to extract and model data
- Building custom automated paginated reports within SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree, (Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics) or equivalent work experience
- Two plus years in a comparable role
- Strong competency in Power BI (Tableau or similar data visualization tools
- Master level proficiency in MS Excel
- Working proficiency with writing SQL to query data from relational database
- Familiarity with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
- Experience with enterprise tools/systems such as Salesforce and NetSuite
- Fundamental understanding of API's or Postman
- Fundamental understanding of Python & R
