We are looking for a Senior PHP/Laravel Developer to join a long-term, web-based SaaS project focused on automating tax recovery processes for European markets. The platform is designed to streamline workflows, reduce manual work, and ensure accurate, compliant reporting across multiple countries.

- Maintain and enhance an existing VAT automation platform;
- Develop reliable, reusable, and scalable backend code;
- Collaborate with a distributed team following Agile (SCRUM) methodologies;
- Optimize system performance and help reduce technical debt;
- Work with APIs and automate processes to improve efficiency.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial PHP experience, with strong Laravel expertise;
- Deep understanding of OOP principles and design patterns;
- Experience with YAML, XML, and integration with third-party APIs;
- Comfortable with LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP);
- Proficient in Git or equivalent version control;
- Agile/SCRUM experience;
- Upper-intermediate English for business communication;
- Soft skills: collaborative, proactive, responsible, and effective communicator.
- Frontend development with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS;
- Experience with caching, observability tools, or performance tuning.
