Your Role

Be part of the Embedded and Safety-Critical Systems Unit, developing the new generation of embedded and real-time systems that are highly connected, with massive processing power and performing complex applications. Embedded and Safety-Critical Systems Unit at Capgemini Engineering is dedicated to offering packaged solutions to clients in all industries, helping them create new business opportunities and new experiences for their users. We are looking for talented senior software engineers with very strong C++ knowledge to join our project teams in multiple industries, such as Semiconductor, Manufacturing, Automotive and Life Sciences.


Your Profile

Core skills

  • Hands- on experience in designing and developing C++ software using modern development practices
  • Understanding of design & architecture principles, common data structures and algorithms complexity
  • Ability to work as a part of a mid-size to large globally distributed team
  • Solid C++ knowledge, modern C++ (C++11 onwards) highly valued
  • Experience developing C and C++ code in a Linux environment (e.g. with gcc, gdb, gprof, valgrind, …)
  • Object-oriented Design
  • Knowledge of boost and STL
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Able to lead a technical team on day-to-day activities, i.e. being able to design the technical approach to be taken by the team, mentoring less senior members, and providing technical inputs to the project manager in order to enable effective project and stakeholder management.


Additional Skills (considered a Plus)

  • Expert in Unix scripts, bash, Python
  • Knowledge of embedded systems is highly valued
  • CICD knowledge and DevOps mindset
