Job Summary

Shriram General Insurance is seeking a skilled Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain responsive and high-performance web applications. The role involves working across front-end and back-end technologies to build scalable solutions and ensure an optimal user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications and websites.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams to implement features and enhancements.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern web technologies.
• Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services into web applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing systems.
• Ensure web applications follow security best practices and data protection standards.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, PHP, or similar.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with full-stack development.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
