JavaScript Developer (React)
Salary: Up to £45,000
Location: Predominantly Remote (1 day per fortnight in Oxfordshire office)
We’re working with a growing technology company developing a modern PaaS (Platform as a Service) product used by organisations to manage and optimise key parts of their digital operations.
As the company continues to expand its platform, they’re looking for a Front-End Developer with React experience to join their engineering team.
You’ll be working in a small, collaborative development team, partnering closely with the CTO / Technical Architect to build and enhance modern web applications. Because the team is lean, you’ll have the opportunity to own features end-to-end, contribute to design decisions, and help shape the future of the platform.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and maintaining modern front-end applications using React and JavaScript
- Developing clean, responsive UI components and user experiences
- Collaborating with the CTO and wider team on design and architecture decisions
- Writing unit tests and maintaining code quality
- Experimenting with new technologies and proof-of-concepts
- Contributing to the evolution of the company’s front-end tooling and design patterns
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with React and modern JavaScript
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and responsive UI development
- Experience with front-end tooling such as Webpack or Babel
- Exposure to JavaScript testing frameworks (e.g. Jest)
- An interest in UX and building high-quality user interfaces
- Someone comfortable working in a small, autonomous development team
Nice to Have
- Node.js experience
- Cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases
- Experience with microservices or modern deployment practices
