Senior Network Engineer – Low Latency / Colocation Networks

Location

Central London | Up to £75k | 4 days onsite

We’re hiring a Senior Network Engineer to join a low latency networking team at a leading quantitative research and technology firm. The team designs and delivers high-performance network infrastructure across multiple exchange colocation data centres supporting trading and research systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement low-latency networks in colocation environments
• Deliver routing & switching projects (Cisco / Arista)
• Support exchange connectivity and WAN circuits
• Hands-on DC work (rack & stack, cross-connects, vendor coordination)
• Troubleshoot L2/L3 networks (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP)

Requirements

• Strong routing & switching experience (Cisco / Arista)
• Solid understanding of BGP, OSPF and core networking concepts
• Experience working in data centre / colocation environments
• Ability to design HLD / LLD network solutions

Nice to have: Multicast, AWS networking, or automation (Python / Ansible)
