We are seeking an Engineer Multidiscipline who will be responsible for providing engineering support to the production of pharmaceutical active ingredients within technical area of expertise by using reliable and cost effective technical solutions, ensuring technical quality to enable the overall site / project objectives in accordance with the law, internal regulations, Good Practices and business objectives. You will support includes planning, coordinating, implementation and qualification of technical and technological changes to production equipment and active participation in start-ups and troubleshooting of production lines.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead or contribute to activities and improvements related to equipment, utility, facility (maintenance, productivity, compliance, environmental, energy efficiency). Independently implement small/minor changes and capital expenditure projects and identify technical solutions for them.
  • Execute FMEA and define the maintenance type for each asset according to asset/equipment criticality (HML).
  • Maintain Master Instrument Inventory (MII) and Master Equipment Inventory (MEI). Set-up maintenance for new equipment (incl. spare part needs).
  • Manage technical / engineering changes: originate Change Request, approve Change Request, close Change Request.
  • Participate in the implementation of major capital expenditure projects (User Requirements, Technical Quality Review, constructability, FS, HAZOP, PRORA, ...).
  • Develop test specification / plan for commissioning & qualification in projects. Create/Execute DQ, IQ and OQ protocols and reports. Perform commissioning, FAT / SAT / qualifications/validations. Perform GMP risk assessments (incl. Sensors SRA). Provide technical trouble shooting during PQ and validation.
  • Support internal and external audits and independently manage and resolve deviations on equipment and systems.
  • Create / maintain / verify engineering documents (protocols, drawings, lists, schedules, diagrams, layouts, calculations, datasheets,...) and approve drawings, lists, schedules, diagrams, layouts, calculations and datasheets in project.

What You Will Bring To The Role

  • Degree in Chemical or Mechanical engineering (Dipl. Ing. / M. Sc. / B. Sc.) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in engineering and/or production environment.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in local language.
