SKL Technology is currently searching for a motivated Delivery Manager / Scrum Master to join our growing client within their ICT Services Division.

The role involves delivering end-to-end agile delivery and program coordination services within a complex government environment, working closely with Product Owners, architects, technical leads, and cross-functional delivery teams. You will be responsible for driving delivery across a large Transition Program, ensuring work is delivered on time, aligned to governance requirements, and supported by strong reporting and stakeholder engagement.

This role sits across Microsoft 365 and workplace platform streams (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, Endpoint Manager, Purview, Security Centre) and requires someone who can operate across both agile (Scrum/Kanban) and structured delivery environments, ensuring consistency, transparency, and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
2. Establish and maintain delivery cadence, working agreements, and Definition of Ready/Done within a hybrid delivery environment.
3. Coordinate cross-functional teams including Microsoft 365 engineers, architects, cyber security, and external vendors.
4. Partner with Product Owners and technical stakeholders to manage prioritised backlogs across workplace platform initiatives.
5. Plan and track delivery across sprints and releases, managing dependencies, risks, issues, and critical paths.
6. Drive delivery reporting and transparency, including burn-up/burn-down charts, forecasts, RAID logs, and status reporting.
7. Support transition activities, including service readiness, cutover planning, and operational handover.
8. Ensure delivery aligns with government cyber security, compliance, and governance requirements.
9. Coach teams and stakeholders on agile best practices and continuous improvement.
10. Contribute to change and release planning, ensuring smooth transition into BAU operations.

Essential Criteria

1. Proven experience operating as a Delivery Manager and/or Scrum Master within complex environments.
2. Strong experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams, including engineers, architects, and external vendors.
3. Demonstrated ability to lead and embed agile delivery practices (Scrum/Kanban) and facilitate core ceremonies.
4. Experience managing delivery governance, reporting, and risk management within regulated environments.
5. Proven capability in service transition and operational handover, including documentation and release planning.
6. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
7. Experience working within or alongside Australian Government frameworks, compliance, and cyber security requirements.

Desirable Criteria

1. Relevant certifications such as Scrum Master, SAFe, PRINCE2 Agile, MSP, or equivalent.
2. Experience working with Microsoft 365 platforms and workplace technologies.
3. Familiarity with ITSM practices, service readiness, and transition frameworks.
4. Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code or automation-driven delivery environments.
