About the opportunity
Working an 8:6 roster ex Perth, Altrad are seeking an, experienced P6 Planner/Scheduler to join a major structural remediation project based in Geraldton. In this role, you’ll provide both Altrad and client project teams with an accurate view of project progress, productivity, and performance.

In this role, you will:
- Play a key role in the development, maintenance and delivery of project schedules, including Annual Execution Plans and integrated master schedules using Primavera P6.
- Work closely with Site Leadership, Project Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and Supervisors to sequence, prioritise and optimise Scopes of Work, including non-routine and shutdown activities.
- Monitor and analyse project performance, tracking progress, productivity, earned value, installation norms, manning levels and critical path activities, and providing actionable insights.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely reporting and dashboards (daily through annual), consolidating inputs across HSE, Quality, Commercial and Operations functions.
- Support strong commercial and cost control outcomes by managing labour hours, forecasting, budget alignment, installed quantities and utilisation of materials and equipment.
- Build effective client and stakeholder relationships, communicating regularly with client representatives, promoting safety-first execution, and contributing to continuous improvement across Altrad’s project management systems.

About you
You’re a driven planner who works well with teams, adapts to change, and consistently delivers meaningful results.
You bring with you:
- Minimum 10 years, proven experience as a Scheduler / Planner across major projects with demonstrated exposure to the mining and shutdown environment.
- Background in mining and/or construction sectors, with site-based experience supporting estimation, planning and execution of remediation and maintenance scopes.
- Strong technical planning capability, including the ability to develop multi-discipline, resource-levelled schedules in Primavera P6, aligned to project deadlines and delivery requirements.
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail, advanced reporting capability, and intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint, with experience preparing clear, accurate project reports and narratives.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively within multi-cultural teams and across both on-site and off-site environments.
