We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer in Vienna, Austria on a contract basis to work for a global organisation. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting secure, high-availability enterprise network infrastructure, including Cisco routing/switching and advanced firewall technologies.
Key Skills :
- CCNP or higher Cisco certification (CCIE preferred)
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in Cisco routing & switching
- Strong experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst (Data Center technologies)
- Proven expertise in Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls
- Solid knowledge of WAN/LAN protocols: BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS, QoS
- Experience in implementing and managing large enterprise networks
- Exposure to network security, segmentation, and high-availability design
- Experience in network migration and modernization projects
- Ability to work in enterprise virtualized environments
- Strong collaboration skills to work with global teams
