Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate in‑house test setups, jigs, fixtures, and test methods.
• Create 3D CAD designs for prototypes and mechanical components.
• Build and iterate prototypes using 3D printers (FDM/resin), CNC milling, and workshop tools.
• Perform mechanical and functional testing of devices and assemblies.
• Prepare test protocols, configure setups, collect data, and document results.
• Analyse findings and provide recommendations for design improvements.
• Maintain laboratory tools, equipment, and prototyping machines; ensure safety standards are followed.
• Collaborate closely with device engineers and other teams.
• Prepare and coordinate sample shipments.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential

• Degree in (electro-)mechanical engineering or equivalent lab/testing experience.
• Strong hands‑on technical background in building test setups, assembling prototypes, and performing lab/engineering tests.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
• Experience with rapid prototyping (filament/resin 3D printing, CNC milling, workshop tools).
• Practical, autonomous problem-solver with a proactive, can‑do approach.
• Strong English communication, documentation, and organisational skills.
• Team-oriented, comfortable in a hands-on innovation environment.

Desirable

• Experience with medical devices.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety guidelines.
• Familiarity with maintaining lab equipment and managing supplies.
