Role & Responsibilities
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and evolving the network infrastructure while supporting strategic technology initiatives. Your main responsibilities include:
- Participating in the day-to-day administration, optimisation and evolution of the network infrastructure.
- Managing, securing and improving the firewall environment.
- Contributing to infrastructure evolution or migration projects under the coordination of the IT team.
- Providing Level 3 technical support and assisting colleagues with complex network issues.
- Documenting technical processes and creating clear guides and procedures to support internal teams.
- Designing and maintaining network architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
- Implementing and integrating solutions across on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.
- Supervising and validating the quality of project deliverables related to network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise across network architecture, security and infrastructure operations, including:
- Advanced experience in Disaster Recovery architecture (design, deployment and support).
- Advanced knowledge of DNS and DHCP services.
- Strong experience in technical documentation and process definition.
- Expert-level knowledge of Palo Alto firewall technologies, including tools such as Panorama.
- Advanced experience with monitoring tools and incident management processes.
- Expert knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
- Strong understanding of network segmentation and security best practices.
