Role Summary
The PMO Manager will lead governance, reporting, and coordination for a large-scale PLM transformation program aimed at replacing legacy systems and establishing a unified engineering platform. This role ensures structured execution, risk control, and alignment across business, IT, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage the Program Management Office (PMO) for the PLM transformation initiative
- Oversee program timelines, milestones, and deliverables across migration, process design, and rollout
- Drive governance cadence including steering committees, reviews, and planning sessions
- Maintain executive dashboards covering progress, risks, KPIs, and key decisions
- Track cross-functional dependencies (migration, processes, training, rollout readiness)
- Manage risks, mitigation plans, and escalation frameworks
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure alignment with internal teams
- Facilitate backlog prioritization and planning with business and IT stakeholders
- Ensure proper documentation, decision logs, and action tracking
- Monitor program financials including budgets, resource utilization, and forecasting
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in managing large-scale enterprise transformation programs (PLM/Engineering systems preferred)
- Strong expertise in governance, risk management, and program reporting
- Experience working with global stakeholders across business and technology teams
- Familiarity with Agile and structured project delivery methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, or Business Management
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Program Management certification preferred
- Experience in automotive, industrial manufacturing, or engineering domains is a plus
