Tester
Location: Netherlands
Salary: up to €65k DOE
About the company
You will be joining a modern software business building ERP solutions used by homeowners association managers. The company is a close knit team of around 20 people across product, engineering, support and sales. Within development, you will work as part of a Scrum team where collaboration is key and your work has direct, visible impact on end users.
The environment is informal, technically driven and focused on continuous improvement. You will have the opportunity to take ownership, contribute ideas and be involved across the full product lifecycle.
The role
As a tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the platform. You will work across both manual and automated testing in a modern development environment.
You will be involved from early concept through to release, working closely with developers and designers in a Scrum team. This is not a traditional QA role, you will actively contribute to improving testing strategy, automation coverage and overall product quality.
Key responsibilities
• Design, build and maintain automated test frameworks
• Execute and improve manual and automated test coverage
• Test across different layers including integration, system and end to end
• Perform API testing and validate system integrations
• Collaborate closely with developers during sprints
• Contribute to improving testing processes and quality standards
• Analyse defects and support root cause investigation
What you bring
• Several years of experience in test automation within complex environments
• Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks
• Strong hands on experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright or Cypress
• Experience with Robot Framework and BDD tools such as SpecFlow or Cucumber
• Solid programming skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript or Python
• Understanding of different testing levels and strategies
• Experience with API testing using REST, Postman or similar tools
• Basic knowledge of databases and test data handling
• Good understanding of software architecture and scalable systems
