As Head of Data, you will be the strategic driver of our data vision, working closely with the COO to transform data into a competitive advantage. Leveraging your expertise in financial or banking data environments, you’ll ensure the integrity, accessibility, and scalability of our data assets while enabling the business to make faster, smarter decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s end-to-end data strategy, aligning it with business and marketing objectives.
• Partner closely with the COO to ensure data priorities support strategic growth goals.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire our Data Science, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams.
• Oversee data governance, compliance, and security practices in line with industry standards.
• Leverage experience in financial/banking datasets to strengthen forecasting, customer segmentation, and performance tracking.
• Drive a culture of data literacy across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong background in financial services, banking, or fintech data environments.
• Expertise in data architecture, analytics, and governance.
• Solid understanding of marketing analytics, customer data platforms (CDPs), and campaign measurement.
• Hands-on experience with modern data tech stacks
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable business recommendations.
• Based in (or willing to relocate to) Amsterdam.
