Voxelmaps is seeking to hire a Full Stack .NET Developer with strong backend and frontend skills to support our Research and Development Team. This is a full-time permanent role with an immediate start date.
Candidates are required to be proficient in C#, JavaScript, .NET frameworks, experience in developing ASP.NET MVC | ASP.NET Core MVC applications, good knowledge of MSSQL | MySQL | Postgres and excellent knowledge of HTML | JS | CSS.
Selected candidates will be involved in architecting and developing our next-generation online platform.
You must live in Porto, Portugal or be willing to relocate - as we have a business entity located in Porto.

What we expect from the candidate:
- Ability to design, develop and support .NET applications with modern architecture
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Ability to work independently as needed, take ownership and deliver results
- Strong experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
- Good understanding of Web API, RESTful services, and backend application design
- Experience with frontend development using JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience with React
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive layout, and cross-browser compatibility
- Strong experience in SQL Server, including DB architecture, stored procedures, and performance optimization
- Understanding of basic principles of working with Big Data / practical experience
- Understanding of Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core
- Experience with Redis, message brokers, or caching solutions
- Ability to debug, test, and optimize both frontend and backend code
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with microservices or distributed systems
- Familiarity with SignalR/MQTT, real-time applications, or background services
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing and test automation
- 3+ years of commercial experience in .NET development
- Experience delivering real-world web applications from concept to production
- €35k - €45K per year
