Business Analyst (Contract) – Remote (Portugal)

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst Contractor to join a global logistics organisation on an initial 6-month contract. This is a fully remote role based in Portugal, working with international teams on large-scale operational and technology initiatives within the logistics and supply chain sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst who enjoys working in fast-paced, complex environments and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders across operations, technology, and product teams
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements sessions
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, and functional specifications
• Work closely with product owners, developers, and QA teams to ensure accurate delivery of requirements
• Support process analysis and improvement initiatives across logistics and supply chain workflows
• Assist with UAT planning, execution, and defect management
• Create and maintain documentation, business cases, and solution proposals
• Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in complex enterprise environments
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
• Experience working in Agile and/or Scrum environments
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical documentation
• Strong process modelling and analytical skills
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Fluent English

Desirable Experience

• Experience within logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments
• Exposure to global or multi-regional organisations
• Knowledge of process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN)
• Experience supporting digital transformation or operational improvement projects
