Following the huge success of our first release MORDHAU, we are expanding our team to work on our next game. We are currently looking for a Senior Programmer to join us in our studio in Ljubljana, Slovenia, or as fully remote for the right candidate.
Now is an exciting time to join our small group of international developers and become part of the Triternion team.
Responsibilities:
- Propose architectures and implement game systems and features, including but not limited to gameplay, networking, and UI.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and other programmers to define requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Write documentation for implemented systems, both in code and in the project wiki.
- Perform code reviews for other programmers on the team.
- Mentor other programmers in your areas of expertise.
Requirements:
- Ability to navigate and quickly make sense of large codebases
- Ability to produce solutions consistent with existing patterns and approaches used in the project
- Decent understanding of modern CPU architectures (primarily x86), understanding of what code in native programming languages compiles into.
- Decent understanding of GPU architecture and rendering pipeline is preferable but not strictly required
- Ability to solve tasks such as these with little supervision, given enough time:
○ Creating a game engine
○ Creating a programming language
○ Creating a database management system
- Technical aware and able to make smart viable creative product decisions
- Unreal experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and an inspiring and strong work ethic
- Excellent written and spoken English
