CrewHarbor connects German companies with experienced IT and infrastructure specialists in Romania.

For a long-term cybersecurity project, we are looking for an IT Security Consultant to support the protection of modern IT infrastructures and the implementation of secure architectures. This role focuses on security risk assessment, infrastructure and cloud security, governance, and the continuous improvement of overall security posture.

🛠️ Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess security risks across IT infrastructures, systems, and cloud environments
• Design and implement security concepts for networks, systems, and applications
• Implement and maintain security technologies such as identity and access management, endpoint protection, and network security solutions
• Support the implementation of security policies, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements
• Conduct security assessments, risk analyses, and internal security audits
• Monitor security events and support incident response and remediation activities
• Advise IT teams and stakeholders on secure architecture and operating models
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and cloud teams to continuously improve the overall security posture

✅ Profile

• Several years of experience in IT security or cybersecurity
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and network security concepts
• Experience with security technologies such as SIEM platforms, endpoint security, firewalls, or identity management solutions
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or similar
• Experience with cloud security concepts is a plus
• Good English skills
• German is nice to have
• Analytical mindset and a structured way of working
• Strong communication skills when working with different stakeholders.
