Our client in Zurich is looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Fircosoft sanctions screening solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain Fircosoft products and their underlying infrastructure (servers, databases, interfaces)
- Design, test, and optimise screening rule sets to reliably detect sanction‑related risks
- Monitor platform performance and introduce improvements to boost accuracy
- Analyse system behaviour, review data patterns, and identify enhancement opportunities
- Manage change documentation, performance reporting, and process descriptions
- Contribute to system architecture discussions and participate in end‑to‑end project activities, from analysis to testing
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science (university or technical college) and hands‑on experience as a systems engineer/administrator
- Strong knowledge of Fircosoft tools
- Oracle databases
- PKI, SSH, certificates
- Networking (IP, firewalls, load balancing)
- Programming/scripting
- Messaging technologies (JMS, IBM MQ, Apache Kafka)
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
