About uButler

uButler is a 24/7 service that helps international employees quickly find their way in the Netherlands. Our International Mobility Agents, working under the name “Sophie”, support newcomers with everything involved in relocating to a new country through our specially developed software. From opening a bank account and arranging health insurance to more personal matters such as planning a holiday or discovering a new hobby. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join our team for 24 to 36 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.

Your mission

As an HR Generalist at uButler, you ensure that our internal HR processes run smoothly and accurately. You will mainly focus on the operational and administrative side of HR and act as an important point of contact for employees and managers with day to day HR questions. You make sure that personnel administration, payroll and recruitment are well organised and executed according to the right procedures.


You will work closely with management and internal managers to ensure all HR processes are carried out correctly and on time.


What you will do

  • Manage and process HR administration such as contracts, employee files and contract changes
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding and ensure correct administrative handling
  • Support and execute payroll processes and related checks
  • Maintain HR systems and ensure accurate data management
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, screening and interview planning
  • Support managers and employees with operational HR questions
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and administration


What we are looking for

  • You have experience with Dutch HR operations, personnel administration and payroll processes
  • You have solid knowledge of Dutch labour law
  • You work accurately, in a structured way and have strong attention to detail
  • You enjoy an operational HR role with a focus on administration and processes
  • You communicate clearly and professionally
  • Fluent English is required; Dutch is a strong plus, especially for reading official documentation
  • You are proactive, independent and able to prioritise effectively
  • You live in or around Amsterdam and are able to start preferably on June 1st
  • You are able to work between 24-40 hours per week
